It is a rare sighting to find European vines planted on their own rootstalk. In fact most of Europe’s vines are planted on American roots. In this post you will have a chance to view two Mt. Etna vineyards- one on American roots and a rare vineyard planted on European rootstalk. We’ll also look into the history of how this came to be.
